Good morning garden

Today I followed up with my plan to get out into the garden and do some yard work. I was outside by 11:00 and spent a little over a hour weeding and replanting some tiger lilies. The recent rain made it be more practical to get the full sized shovel out when attacking some giant weeds that seemed to appear and get a foot tall in if three days. I have one yard waste bucket filled and for now, I am content with that.

I specifically aimed at working for about an hour. This is the second time I've been out weeding and whatnot. Last year I didn't pay attention to time and did too much. Rather than being able to work the next day, I was nursing sore shoulders. If I plot it out properly, watch myself in terms of reaching and amounts of weight I am moving all should be well.

I've decided to add a Zumba class to my weekly routine. Adding that to my stability ball class and making a point of walking (deliberate, not just to/from places) at least 2 hrs a week, it will start my 5k plan. While I, of course, will include some jogging, being well rounded will keep me from getting bored. I know there will be a point when I will be bored NOT doing anything (and that is a time I look forward to very much) and get my butt moving.
